Maular by user6032888

Format: Commander

Commander: Maular, the Next Evolution

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Maular, the Next Evolution is both the deck's rulebreaker and its primary damage amplifier. The deck ramps to seven mana, cheats or hard-casts 7+ mana creatures, and then attacks with Maular beside them; each 7+ attacker doubles in power and toughness. Secondary paths use cascade and reveal engines (Maelstrom Wanderer, Apex Devastator, Lurking Predators, Monstrous Vortex) to flood the board, plus recursion from Sheoldred and the Ancient Elder Dragons. No card in the 99 functions as a true hidden commander; Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant is the preferred finisher because she puts multiple 7+ attackers onto the battlefield at once.
