Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai graveyard reanimation and self-mill strategy commanded by Muldrotha, the Gravetide. The game plan focuses on filling the graveyard using efficient mill spells such as Grisly Salvage, Mesmeric Orb, and Splinterfright. Once the graveyard holds a critical mass of permanent types and massive creature threats like Yargle and Multani and Impervious Greatwurm, the deck leverages Muldrotha to recur value or resolves a decisive Living Death to wipe opposing creatures and reanimate an overwhelming army. Alternatively, Basalt Monolith combined with Mesmeric Orb can mill the entire library in a single turn to win via Laboratory Maniac. With 36 lands and dedicated ramp rocks, the deck consistently develops its mana to deploy Muldrotha on Turn 5 and threaten lethal combat or combo finishes by Turns 6 and 7. The deck excels in long-term card velocity and resilience, using the graveyard as an extended hand.
