Deck overview

This Bant counters deck uses Tidus, Yuna's Guardian to move counters at the start of combat and to draw a card and proliferate when counter creatures deal combat damage. The primary plan builds a wide board of creatures that enter with or gain +1/+1 counters, then scales them with doublers like Hardened Scales, Innkeeper's Talent, Kami of Whispered Hopes and Loading Zone. Secondary paths win through unblockable or double-strike combat with Herald of Secret Streams and Chocobo Knights, or through a Walking Ballista combo that turns infinite counters into direct damage. Tidus acts as card advantage and proliferate engine, while Kami and Innkeeper's Talent serve as hidden commanders that drive the counter math.
