Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Mono-Red Voltron and combat synergy deck commanded by Knuckles the Echidna. Knuckles combines double strike, trample, and haste with a combat damage trigger that produces a Treasure token on both first strike and regular damage steps. The primary strategy accelerates into an early Turn 3 or 4 Knuckles deployment, promptly attaching high-yield equipment such as Excalibur, Sword of Eden, The Reaver Cleaver, or the protection Swords. By Turn 5, Knuckles threatens single-hit commander damage eliminations while generating massive Treasure reserves. The deck can close games through sequential combat eliminations, alternate heavy hitters like Ancient Copper Dragon, or an infinite combat loop using Aggravated Assault and Sword of Feast and Famine. Disruptive permanents like Blood Moon and Stranglehold slow down opponents while protective equipment and redirection spells keep the offensive engine intact.
