Deck overview

This deck is a Selesnya Human Tribal strategy led by Katilda, Dawnhart Prime. The primary game plan converts early Human creatures into mana dorks through Katilda, rapidly accelerating into high-impact tribal lords, token generators, and +1/+1 counter engines. Cards like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Torens, Fist of the Angels, and Horn of Gondor generate a wide board of attackers, while Kyler, Sigardian Emissary, Cathars' Crusade, and Katilda's activated ability pump the team into lethal range. Evasion enablers such as Abzan Falconer, Odric, Master Tactician, and Craterhoof Behemoth ensure damage connects past opposing blockers. The deck features strong board protection through Teferi's Protection and Inspiring Call, but it relies heavily on creature permanents remaining in play, making recovery from repeated board wipes its main challenge.
