Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black artifact midrange and reanimation strategy led by Szarekh, the Silent King. The deck develops its mana using on-curve artifact rocks during the early turns before casting Szarekh to mill cards and recur key artifact creatures. Its midgame establishes a wide board of resilient Necron constructs, leveraging unearth mechanics and token generation from Imotekh the Stormlord and Biotransference. The late-game closes out opponents through overwhelming combat steps fueled by Living Death, Caged Sun, Skorpekh Lord, and the devastating combat triggers of C'tan shards like Shard of the Void Dragon. With strong recursive engines and asymmetric sweepers like Their Name Is Death, the deck grinds through opposing creature boards effectively while maintaining steady card advantage through the graveyard.
