Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Enchantress and Goad Control list led by Killian, Decisive Mentor. The strategy revolves around casting cheap Auras and enchantments to continuously tap down and goad opposing threats. This forces opponents to attack one another while protecting your life total through pillowfort effects like Ghostly Prison, Combat Calligrapher, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple. As opponents deplete each other's life totals and resources, Killian and secondary enchantress engines draw cards to maintain momentum. The deck closes out games by stacking powerful Auras like Angelic Destiny, Eldrazi Conscription, or Sage's Reverie onto Killian for lethal commander damage, or by draining the table with Eriette. The list features robust single-target removal and recursion, though it relies on combat phases and gradual attrition rather than fast combo finishes.
