Deck overview

This is a Kardur, Doomscourge forced-combat deck. It uses Kardur, Doomscourge, Disrupt Decorum, Agitator Ant, and related effects to redirect opposing attacks, then profits through combat deaths, life loss, Treasures, and damage punishers. Repercussion, Blasphemous Act, Chain Reaction, Fiery Confluence, and Brash Taunter can turn a crowded battlefield into a large damage swing. The deck also has useful defensive pieces such as No Mercy, Eldrazi Monument, and indestructible creatures. Its main limitation is that goad is temporary and the damage finish depends heavily on opponents controlling enough creatures. It has no reliable infinite combo, compact deterministic win, or total lockout. Mulligans should prioritize lands, early ramp, and either Kardur, Doomscourge or a broad goad effect. The deck performs best when opponents build creature boards, but it is much weaker against spell-heavy or low-creature strategies.
