Ozai, the Phoenix King by user5433768

Format: Commander

Commander: Ozai, the Phoenix King

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ozai, the Phoenix King is both the mana engine and the kill condition. The deck accelerates into him with rituals, signets, and Treasures, then turns his hasted firebending 4 trigger into persistent red mana that funds extra-combat spells and pump. A clean line uses Great Train Heist to add a second combat, then Temur Battle Rage to make the second hit 14 damage after an unblocked 7, for 21 commander damage. Firebender Ascension and backup attackers like Azula, Combustion Man, and Zuko, Exiled Prince provide alternate routes, while Banefire and Past in Flames close games from a large floating pool. No hidden commander exists; the deck is built entirely around Ozai's combat chain.
