Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Dwarf-tribal engine that turns every Dwarf entry into a Treasure token and every artifact token into an anthem for the other Dwarves. The plan is a mid-speed value/combat build: land Thorin early, make burst Dwarf tokens, and send a pumped Dwarven board at all opponents. ETB/equipment flicker and cheap equip effects keep the engine alive. There is no permanent Hidden Commander; Bifur, Melodic Rider and Gandalf the White are powerful non-command engines. The commander's only face is the one the deck is built to use: it is neither a two-faced legend nor a hidden one.
