Deck overview

Tovolar, Dire Overlord is the engine, and the deck is built to keep him on the front face just long enough to flip to night: once three Wolves/Werewolves exist, his upkeep trigger enlists the night side, and every successful attack draws cards. Secondary plans are wide token beats via Mayor of Avabruck, Nightpack Ambusher, and Hollowhenge Overlord, plus pump/finishers such as Shared Animosity, Beastmaster Ascension, Overwhelming Stampede, Berserkers' Onslaught, and extra combat. There is no hidden commander; the back face Tovolar, the Midnight Scourge acts mainly as a mana sink and trample enabler after the front face has drawn cards.
