Deck overview

This deck is an Esper artifact midrange strategy centered on Urza, Chief Artificer. It uses a dense suite of artifact lands, low-cost mana rocks, and utility artifact creatures to accelerate its mana and quickly discount Urza via affinity for artifact creatures. Once Urza resolves, it generates scaling Construct tokens each end step while granting all artifact creatures menace. The deck amplifies this board presence using layered protective pieces like Bronze Guardian and Cryptothrall, asymmetric sweepers like Organic Extinction, and explosive finishers like Cyberdrive Awakener and Illustrious Wanderglyph. Card advantage engines tied to artifact counts ensure steady hand replenishment. The deck's primary route to victory is overwhelming combat damage, backed by efficient targeted removal and premier defensive shielding.
