Ygra v9 by user4565204

Format: Commander

Commander: Ygra, Eater of All

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Ygra, Eater of All is a Golgari Food/aristocrats deck. The primary plan is to play Ygra, turn every creature into a Food artifact, and use the Food-activated sacrifice to grow Ygra while generating Rat and Squirrel tokens. Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and Poison-Tip Archer translate those deaths into damage. Secondary plans are a Squirrel-token beatdown and a land-ramp shortcut: Hazel's Brewmaster exiling Sakura-Tribe Elder with Tireless Provisioner puts all basics into play and makes Ygra huge. The commander is both engine and finisher; there is no hidden commander, though Hazel's Brewmaster is a secret engine card. The deck wins by commander damage from a giant Ygra or by mass drain triggers.
