Gwen by Sdrex

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is built around the "cast from exile" mechanic, helmed by Gwen Stacy // Ghost-Spider. The front side provides a one-shot exile, while the back side (Ghost-Spider) offers flying, vigilance, haste, and a repeatable exile engine that grows with +1/+1 counters. The deck pairs this with a dense package of exile-and-play effects (Reckless Impulse, Light Up the Stage, Wild Wasteland, Urabrask, Heretic Praetor, Bonehoard Dracosaur) and a voltron equipment suite (Sword of Feast and Famine, Embercleave, Sword of Hearth and Home) to turn the commander into a lethal threat. Secondary win conditions include Quintorius Kand's direct damage and Spider-Verse's copy ability. The deck controls the stack with counterspells and removal while generating incremental value from exile, eventually closing via commander damage.
