Commander: Bladewing the Risen

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This deck is a dragon tribal reanimator strategy helmed by Bladewing the Risen. The primary game plan is to cast Bladewing to reanimate a high-impact dragon from the graveyard, then leverage dragon synergies like Dragon Tempest, Crucible of Fire, and Berserkers' Onslaught to overwhelm opponents with flying beaters. The deck relies on a critical mass of dragons, cost reducers such as Dragonspeaker Shaman and Dragonlord's Servant, and a few reanimation spells to grind out value. It is a slow, battlecruiser-style deck that aims to win through combat damage, with Hellkite Charger providing extra combat steps as a finisher. The deck lacks fast mana, efficient interaction, and combo lines, making it a straightforward, high-curve threat-based strategy.
