Deck overview

This deck is a casual Gruul combat deck led by Rulik Mons, Warren Chief. The game plan revolves around casting early mana dorks, deploying Rulik Mons on Turn 4, and attacking on Turn 5 to either ramp lands directly into play or spawn 1/1 red Goblin tokens. Over the middle turns, the deck widens its board with creature-heavy token producers such as Beetleback Chief, Sourbread Auntie, and Writhing Chrysalis. The primary victory route culminates on Turn 7 by resolving an overwhelming combat payoff like Overrun, Muxus, Goblin Grandee, or Glacier Godmaw to swing through opposing blockers. The deck features functional creature removal through fight and bite effects, though its reliance on sorcery timing and lack of defensive protection make it susceptible to sweepers. It delivers steady, linear pressure without relying on complex combos.
