Deck overview

This mono-blue combo-control deck leverages Orvar, the All-Form to duplicate lands, utility creatures, and combo pieces whenever they are targeted by cheap instants or sorceries. By utilizing low-cost targeting spells such as Twiddle and Cerulean Wisps, the deck rapidly ramps mana and filters through the library. Its primary victory route revolves around pairing Orvar with buyback spells like Whim of Volrath and mana engines like Peregrine Drake or High Tide to generate infinite mana. This mana is instantly converted into a table-wide kill through repeated duplication of Sunscorched Desert or storming off with Brain Freeze. Supported by dense wizardcycling and instant tutors, the list maintains high consistency alongside potent interaction like Counterspell, Resculpt, and Cursed Totem.
