Deck overview

This Grixis deck is commanded by Obeka, Brute Chronologist, leveraging her ability to prematurely end the turn on the stack to bypass detrimental delayed triggers. The core strategy revolves around cheating massive, game-ending threats into play through temporary reanimation spells, sneak effects, and token cloners such as Sneak Attack, Feldon of the Third Path, Apprentice Necromancer, Footsteps of the Goryo, and Araumi of the Dead Tide. When these effects trigger sacrifice or exile at the beginning of the next end step or end of combat, activating Obeka or Sundial of the Infinite exiles the triggers from the stack, allowing the deck to permanently retain colossal creatures like Archon of Cruelty, Terror of the Peaks, and Balefire Dragon. Supported by efficient low-mana acceleration, redundant looting, and flexible Grixis interaction, the deck rapidly establishes a dominant board presence and overwhelms opponents with exponential combat damage and asymmetric attrition.
