Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Golgari Lands combo-control list built around The Gitrog Monster. The primary game plan accelerates into the commander using fast mana, exploration effects, and dorks, then tutors for a free discard outlet and Dakmor Salvage. By discarding Dakmor Salvage with the commander on the battlefield, the deck initiates an infinite dredge and draw loop that leverages Kozilek, Butcher of Truth to recycle the graveyard, draw the entire library, and generate infinite mana. The deck finishes on the same turn using Exsanguinate, Faith of the Devoted, or Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. If the primary combo is disrupted or delayed, the deck transitions into a potent land-denial control engine via Strip Mine, Crucible of Worlds, and Raven's Crime, or closes the game through alternate threats like Dark Depths combined with Thespian's Stage or token swarms from Titania, Protector of Argoth and Avenger of Zendikar.
