Deck overview

This Rakdos deck focuses on forced combat, Goad mechanics, and Curse attrition led by Xantcha, Sleeper Agent. The primary strategy deploys Xantcha early to an opponent without blockers, forcing them to attack other players while giving the table a mana sink that draws cards for you. In the mid-game, the deck stacks Goad effects like Disrupt Decorum, Agitator Ant, and Impetus auras to turn opponents' creatures against each other while shielding your own life total. It accelerates damage through Curses such as Curse of Bloodletting, Curse of Thirst, and Curse of Misfortunes, or devastating single-target bombs like Captive Audience. The deck wins by grinding down opposing life totals through redirected combat and upkeep triggers, closing out the final surviving player with high-power attackers or direct drain.
