Queza by user9872742

Format: Commander

Commander: Queza, Augur of Agonies

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Queza, Augur of Agonies makes every draw trigger a drain effect, and this Esper deck is built around that trigger. The primary plan is to establish card-draw permanents (Rhystic Study, Phyrexian Arena, Consecrated Sphinx), then convert the draw event into life-loss/life-gain with Queza, Krang, Vito, and Psychosis Crawler. The deck's realistic kill is a draw-loop: Marina Vendrell's Grimoire plus Queza with Laboratory Maniac, or Basalt Monolith plus Mesmeric Orb with LabManiac and a draw spell. A secondary mill/combat package-Szadek, Mindskinner, and Dawnsire plus Stuffy Doll-offers a slower path. Krang, the All-Powerful is the closest thing to a hidden commander, doubling draw-trigger payoffs.
