Deck overview

Edgar Markov is a Mardu Vampire deck that wins primarily through an infinite life-drain loop, backed by a wide, hasty token army. The commander's Eminence ability produces a 1/1 Vampire on every Vampire cast, creating cheap board presence even before he is deployed. The main plan is to find and assemble Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Sanguine Bond with Exquisite Blood, then use Exsanguinate (or a lifelink attack) to trigger the loop and kill all opponents. The secondary plan is an aggressive Shared Animosity / Akroma's Will swing. Tutors, Necropotence, and Black Market Connections make the combo consistent, while the Animate Dead/Karmic Guide/Sun Titan package provides an alternate infinite-mana engine.
