Suck (Kaitlin) by Dirlan

Format: Commander

Commander: Astarion, the Decadent

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Astarion, the Decadent leads an Orzhov Vampire aristocrats strategy that drains opposing life totals while bolstering your own. The deck develops early board presence with aggressive Vampires and token producers like Charismatic Conqueror and Elenda, the Dusk Rose. Mid-game engines like Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Sanctum Seeker steadily chip away at opponents through combat and death triggers. Astarion acts as a lethal amplifier, doubling the life lost by a selected opponent each turn to accelerate player elimination. The deck secures definitive victories through massive life swings with Exsanguinate and Pox Plague, or via the infinite drain combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Marauding Blight-Priest.
