Goblin Slinger by dbatoota

Format: Commander

Commander: Ovika, Enigma Goliath

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet spellslinger deck helmed by Ovika, Enigma Goliath that converts every noncreature spell into a swarm of hasty Phyrexian Goblins. The core loop is to reduce spell costs with a dense package of cost reducers, chain instants and sorceries to flood the board with tokens, then convert that board into mana (Battle Hymn, Brightstone Ritual, Skirk Prospector) and damage (Impact Tremors, Molten Gatekeeper, Pashalik Mons, Goblin War Strike). Primary wins are go-wide combat with lords like Goblin Trashmaster and Krenko, Mob Boss, drain triggers, and big X-spell finishers like Crackle with Power and Explosive Singularity. Secondary lines include Thousand-Year Storm copying rituals and Niv-Mizzet, Parun pinging off every spell cast.
