Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-White Stax Combo strategy commanded by Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer. The core game plan establishes early symmetrical tax effects like Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria, and Drannith Magistrate to suppress fast combo decks and restrict spell velocity. The deck breaks parity under these restrictions by using activated abilities and compact win conditions, primarily the two-card infinite combo of Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Walking Ballista. Tutors such as Ranger-Captain of Eos and Enlightened Tutor assemble the combo by Turn 5. Robust proactive protection pieces, including Grand Abolisher and Silence, safeguard the critical turn from opposing interaction. As a backup, the deck leverages damage-redirection engines with Phyrexian Vindicator, Guilty Conscience, and Anti-Venom to build overwhelming board states and close games through infinite damage or combat.
