Format: Commander

Commander: The Mycotyrant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari self-mill aristocrats deck helmed by The Mycotyrant. The plan is to descend aggressively-milling permanent cards into the graveyard via dredge, Hermit Druid, Mesmeric Orb, and ETB millers-then convert those descends into Fungus tokens at end step while looping recursive creatures through sacrifice outlets. Primary wins are infinite drain loops with Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat/Mirkwood Bats plus free recurrers (Gravecrawler, Bloodghast, Nether Traitor), supported by treasure engines (Pitiless Plunderer, Warren Soultrader). Secondary paths include Syr Konrad, the Grim drain on mill/death, mass reanimation via Living Death, and a trampling Mycotyrant backed by a wide Fungus board. The commander is a potent token payoff and beater but is not required for the core loops living in the 99.
