Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed cEDH tempo and combo list helmed by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. It leverages cheap, evasive 0-drop and 1-drop creatures to activate Commander Ninjutsu as early as Turn 2, bypassing the commander tax while drawing cards and burning the entire table with high-cost cards like Shadow of Mortality. While generating continuous card advantage and applying life total pressure, the deck tutors for its primary win condition: Thassa's Oracle paired with Demonic Consultation. Backed by a dense package of free counterspells like Force of Will and Fierce Guardianship, the deck protects its early win attempts while disrupting opposing fast combos. It also incorporates asymmetric hate pieces such as Cursed Totem and Grafdigger's Cage, which shut down opposing commanders and graveyard strategies while leaving Yuriko's ninjutsu activations completely unaffected.
