Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Golgari aristocrats and token combo strategy led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General. Chatterfang sits at the center of the engine, automatically creating a 1/1 green Squirrel token whenever any token enters the battlefield under your control. By pairing token generation from Treasures, Clues, and Food with Chatterfang, the deck rapidly floods the board with disposable fodder. These Squirrels are then converted into overwhelming card advantage through engines like Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, or used to control the battlefield through Chatterfang's targeted -X/-X removal ability and Grave Pact. The primary win condition revolves around compact infinite sacrifice loops, most notably Pitiless Plunderer alongside Chatterfang, or Ivy Lane Denizen paired with Scurry Oak. When combined with aristocrat payoffs such as Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, or Mirkwood Bats, the deck rapidly drains the entire table in a single decisive turn cycle.
