Commander: Maralen, Fae Ascendant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Maralen, Fae Ascendant is a Sultai Elf/Faerie value engine that exiles two cards from an opponent on every Elf/Faerie ETB and lets you cast one of them for free if its mana value is within your creature count. The primary plan is to flood the board with cheap Elf/Faerie tokens, trigger Maralen repeatedly, and convert that advantage into a flying tribal beatdown. The fastest finish is a hidden Obyra combo: Obyra, Dreaming Duelist plus Imperious Perfect plus Intruder Alarm plus any green mana dork makes infinite Faerie tokens, draining all opponents. Secondary paths include Lathril's activated drain, Oona's mana-sink tokens, and Maralen's free spells to break parity. Commander role: Maralen is the engine; the deck can still function without her but loses velocity.
