Dom's Abigal by Malombra

Format: Commander

Commander: Abigale, Eloquent First-Year

Bracket: 3

DeckCheck Threat Index: 40

Deck overview

This deck transforms creatures with severe drawbacks into premier airborne threats by leveraging Abigale, Eloquent First-Year's enter-the-battlefield ability. Cards like Phyrexian Soulgorger, Rotting Regisaur, and Woolly Razorback possess massive power and toughness for minimal mana, balanced by crippling upkeep costs or defender clauses. When Abigale enters, she removes all abilities from one of these creatures and bestows flying, first strike, and lifelink counters, turning self-destructive drawbacks into pure offensive power. Supported by a blink suite featuring Teleportation Circle, Ephemerate, and Phelia, Exuberant Shepherd, the deck repeatedly triggers enter-the-battlefield effects while resetting counters or silencing new threats. Robust stax and disruption tools like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Trouble in Pairs, and Voice of Victory prevent opponents from interacting or executing their own engines, clearing a path for dominant aerial beatdowns and decisive finishes with Akroma's Will or Massacre Wurm.
