Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord commands a Grixis control and reanimator deck built around passive token generation, Ring-temptation triggers, and graveyard recursion. Sauron punishes opponents casting spells by amassing an Orc Army, then converts Army combat damage into a repeatable hand-refueling engine. The deck controls the board with efficient removal and counterspells while dumping massive threats like Cavern-Hoard Dragon, Knollspine Dragon, and Sauron, Lord of the Rings into the graveyard. Victories are achieved through overwhelming combat damage from massive Orc armies and reanimated beaters, or an instant lethal combo using Orcish Bowmasters paired with Peer into the Abyss.
