Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Human kindred aggro strategy led by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden. The core game plan establishes an early board of low-cost Humans, deploys Éowyn by Turn 4 or 5, and triggers her combat ability to create 2/2 trample, haste Human Knight tokens while drawing extra cards. Once a critical mass of six or more Humans is assembled, the deck transitions into lethal combat swings on Turns 6 through 8 using power multipliers like Shared Animosity, Cathars' Crusade, Greymond, Avacyn's Stalwart, and Horn of Gondor, or by making attacks unblockable with Aragorn, King of Gondor. To defend its creature swarm against board wipes, the deck uses efficient protection spells including Boromir, Warden of the Tower, Selfless Spirit, and Flare of Fortitude. As an alternate win condition, Godo, Bandit Warlord can search Helm of the Host to execute an infinite combat combo.
