Adrix and Nev, Twincasters by user7486429

Format: Commander

Commander: Adrix and Nev, Twincasters

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Simic token-doubling and clone deck helmed by Adrix and Nev, Twincasters. The plan is to resolve the commanders, then copy them so the replacement effects stack, turning every subsequent token event into an overrun. A deep clone suite - Spark Double, Sakashima of a Thousand Faces, Helm of the Host, Rite of Replication, Double Major, Quantum Misalignment, and Irenicus's Vile Duplication - makes extra Adrixes (or extra payoffs), after which Scute Swarm, Avenger of Zendikar, Rampaging Baloths, Hornet Queen, and Gruff Triplets flood the board. Primary wins are a Craterhoof Behemoth alpha strike through the doubled army and an alternate-win Biovisionary stack assembled with name-preserving copies. Adrix and Nev, Twincasters is a powerful Ward {2} multiplier, but the 99 still goes wide and combos if they never stick. Ramp is dense, the nonland curve sits at 3.47, and interaction is a standard Simic mix of cheap counters and instant-speed answers.
