Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant midrange deck helmed by Kellan, the Kid. The core game plan revolves around casting spells from zones other than the hand—utilizing Foretell, Plot, Suspend, Flashback, Cascade, and Adventures—to trigger Kellan's ability and cheat permanents into play or accelerate lands. The engine provides strong tempo swings and compounding board presence without relying on infinite combos. Its primary win condition is closing the game through heavy combat damage using oversized beaters like Apex Devastator, Evercoat Ursine, and a runaway Sisterhood of Karn. While the deck excels at value accumulation and resilience against targeted removal through protective foretold spells, it lacks specific tutors and proactive stax elements, making its clock dependent on natural card draw and uninterrupted combat phases.
