Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is helmed by the partner pair Atreus, Impulsive Son and Kratos, Stoic Father, combining God tribal synergy with an experience counter engine. The strategy focuses on deploying resilient, indestructible legendary Gods to trigger Kratos whenever Gods attack or die, steadily accumulating experience counters on the player. As counters accrue, Kratos distributes massive piles of +1/+1 counters each end step while Atreus converts them into repeatable card draw and table-wide burn damage. The deck finishes games through overwhelming combat damage amplified by evasion enablers like Iroas, God of Victory, team-wide double strike spells such as Akroma's Will, and extra combat phases. While inherently resilient against standard destruction sweepers due to the indestructible nature of many Theros and Amonkhet Gods, the list is constrained by low reactive interaction density and vulnerability to mass exile effects like Farewell.
