Deck overview

This mono-black combo deck uses K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth to turn life into mana, accelerating its game plan into explosive early turns. The primary plan deploys K'rrik on Turn 3 and immediately casts key tutors or reanimation spells to assemble a same-turn win. The primary win line resolves Buried Alive to put Necrotic Ooze, Asmodeus the Archfiend, and Skirge Familiar into the graveyard. When Reanimate brings back Necrotic Ooze, it draws the library and generates black mana to cast Aetherflux Reservoir and eliminate all opponents with 50-damage activations. Alternative win routes include Peer into the Abyss, Hoarding Broodlord with Saw in Half, and the Exquisite Blood plus Sanguine Bond combo. The deck faces vulnerability to well-timed creature removal and counterspells, but strong tutor density and burst draw ensure consistent pressure.
