Training day by sup3rbuddha

Format: Commander

Commander: Torens, Fist of the Angels

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Torens, Fist of the Angels leads a Selesnya Human tribal deck that converts every creature spell into a 1/1 Human Soldier with training. The primary plan is to flood the board with Humans and +1/+1 counters, then break parity with anthem effects, flying via Abzan Falconer, or a massive Beastmaster Ascension swing. Secondary paths include going wide with token producers like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Horn of Gondor, and grinding value through draw engines such as Mentor of the Meek and Tocasia's Welcome. The commander accelerates the board but is not the sole engine; the deck can still function if he is removed, though losing him slows the token generation significantly.
