Deck overview

This Gruul stompy deck is commanded by Bumi, Unleashed, focusing on turning lands into resilient attackers through the earthbend mechanic. Early turns establish a strong mana foundation with low-cost ramp spells like Nature's Lore, Three Visits, and Fanatic of Rhonas. On Turn 4, casting Bumi immediately creates a 4/4 hasty land creature. On Turn 5, attacking with Bumi triggers full land untaps and an additional combat phase exclusively for land creatures. The deck magnifies this combat tempo with massive overrun effects, counter doublers, and mass animation spells such as Sylvan Awakening, Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, Toph, Greatest Earthbender, and Moraug, Fury of Akoum. Earthbent lands inherently return to the battlefield tapped upon death or exile, granting the deck built-in resistance against sweepers. With backup protection from Heroic Intervention and Sylvan Safekeeper, the deck systematically overruns the table by Turn 7.
