Deck overview

This is a Dimir mill deck helmed by Zellix, Sanity Flayer with the Haunted One Background. The primary game plan is to mill all three opponents out using a dense suite of mill spells and creatures, while Zellix's Hive Mind ability generates 1/1 Horror tokens whenever creature cards are milled. The Haunted One Background gives Zellix and his Horrors +2/+0 and undying whenever they tap, creating a resilient combat and recursion angle. Secondary win conditions include Syr Konrad, the Grim converting every milled creature card into damage, and combat damage from undying Horrors. The deck is a midrange/control mill strategy that grinds opponents down over several turns, with Hullbreaker Horror providing a control lock and The Water Crystal amplifying all mill.
