Deck overview

This deck is a political forced-combat and counter-control engine led by Kros, Defense Contractor. The game plan accelerates through dense one-mana mana dorks on turn one, deploys counter enablers on turns two and three, and resolves Kros to seize control of the combat step by turn four. Whenever Kros or supporting cards place counters on opposing creatures, Kros taps them down and goads them while granting trample. This simultaneously strips opponents of defensive blockers and forces their largest threats to attack each other instead of you. As opponents exhaust their life totals through mandatory combat, card-draw engines like Generous Patron and Borrowing 100,000 Arrows replenish resources. Once the table thins to a single surviving opponent, the deck converts into a lethal closeout using massive power multipliers such as Colossification, Berserk, Choose Your Weapon, or commander damage to eliminate the final player.
