Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck is commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, focusing on incremental life drain, sacrifice synergy, and decisive mid-game attrition. Early turns establish mana and deploy recursive token generators such as Ophiomancer. Sephiroth turns these expendable bodies into steady card advantage and early life swings. As the graveyard fills, the deck pivots toward game-ending aristocrat engines. Its primary win condition leverages Tombstone Stairwell to trigger dozens of death triggers across all players' upkeeps, rapidly melting opponent life totals through Sephiroth's Super Nova emblem and supporting drain permanents like Zulaport Cutthroat and Funeral Room // Awakening Hall. Heavy creature removal keeps opposing boards manageable, while mass drain and life-halving effects like Wound Reflection and Pox Plague close out resistant tables.
