Deck overview

This Esper Sphinx deck leverages The Ur-Sphinx's Eminence ability to reduce the cost of high-impact flyers straight from the command zone. Supported by a dense suite of 2-mana artifacts and creature cost reducers like Heartless Summoning and Watcher of the Spheres, the deck consistently curves into massive threats ahead of schedule. Key engines such as Unesh, Criosphinx Sovereign and Tivit, Seller of Secrets generate overwhelming card advantage and resource velocity, allowing you to chain multiple Sphinxes each turn. Pressure escalates rapidly on Turn 5 through evasive aerial combat backed by decisive game-enders like Magister Sphinx and Medomai the Ageless. While the deck is vulnerable to sweepers due to its reliance on tap-out creature deployment, built-in ward, high toughness, and recursive options like Sharuum the Hegemon provide strong midgame resilience.
