Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov enchantment control deck that weaponizes forced combat, pillow fort defenses, and aura synergies. Led by Killian, Decisive Mentor, the deck taps and goads opposing threats whenever an enchantment enters the battlefield. This forces opponents to attack one another while generating steady card advantage whenever enchanted creatures swing. Defensive pillars like Ghostly Prison, Sphere of Safety, and Eriette of the Charmed Apple tax or completely prevent incoming attacks, ensuring opponents can only damage each other. Meanwhile, a dense suite of enchantress draw engines keeps hand size high and fuels consistent land drops. As opponents whittle each other down, the deck transitions into a lethal win condition using token generators like Sigil of the Empty Throne and Archon of Sun's Grace, massive power buffs from All That Glitters and Eldrazi Conscription, or end-step life drain from Eriette of the Charmed Apple.
