Deck overview

This is a thematic artifact-value deck led by The Seventh Doctor and Ace, Fearless Rebel. Its main play pattern is to develop Clues, Treasures, Foods, and mana rocks, then use attacks by The Seventh Doctor to investigate or occasionally cast a high-mana spell for free. Ace, Fearless Rebel turns sacrificed artifacts into counters and creature fights. The deck has several strong midgame payoffs, including Shimmer Dragon, Cyberdrive Awakener, Nettlecyst, Portal to Phyrexia, and Aetherflux Reservoir. Its main problem is that these payoffs do not form one reliably assembled winning line. The curve is high, tutoring is sparse, and the commander engine needs both setup and combat access. It can generate a wide board and substantial card flow in an unopposed game, but it does not reliably produce a fast lethal threat, a total lock, or a compact combo finish.
