Deck overview

This deck is an Esper draw-and-drain synergy build commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. Its strategy revolves around converting high card-draw volume directly into life point swings, draining opponents whenever cards enter hand while keeping life totals high. The mana base of 38 lands and modest artifact ramp reliably supports casting Queza on turn 4 and establishing draw engines by turn 5. The deck achieves critical pressure around turn 7 by casting massive draw spells such as Peer into the Abyss or triggering high-end engines like Drogskol Reaver and Psychosis Crawler. A secondary combat plan utilizes growing threats like Chasm Skulker and Body of Knowledge. While resilient due to redundant payoffs and built-in lifegain buffers, the list relies purely on natural card flow rather than specific tutors and runs no proactive stax elements, competing as a synergistic midrange deck.
