Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Bant +1/+1 counters midrange deck helmed by Tidus, Yuna's Guardian. The plan is to establish counter-generating permanents, put counters on attackers, and use Tidus's combat-step ability to shuffle counters around while his Cheer trigger draws cards and proliferates once per turn. The supporting 99 is a redundancy web: Hardened Scales, Path of Discovery, Forgotten Ancient, Maester Seymour, and Tromell, Seymour's Butler compound counter production; Chocobo Knights, Sphere Grid, and Duskshell Crawler turn that counter mass into double-striking, trampling combat damage; and Walking Ballista plus Sin, Unending Cataclysm give the deck a non-combat finisher. This is not a fast combo deck; it wins through incremental board dominance, counter amplification, and evasive combat.
