Edgar Markov by catfishpony

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov is a token-generating aggro deck built around Eminence: every non-commander Vampire spell makes a 1/1 token while Edgar sits in the command zone, and casting Edgar itself turns the swarm into a hasted, first-striking army. The primary win is a wide board of Vampires backed by anthems (Stromkirk Captain, Patchwork Banner, Intangible Virtue) and attack-triggered drain (Sanctum Seeker, Blood Artist, Vito). Secondary paths are Exsanguinate for X after Bloodletter of Aclazotz, and Bloodchief Ascension as a drain clock. The commander is not a required piece; the real engine is the Eminence trigger.
