Thorin, Dwarven Treasures by Daybreak

Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk leads an aggressive Boros tribal strategy centered on Dwarf synergies, historic permanents, and artifact token accumulation. The deck establishes early board presence through low-cost Dwarf creatures and utility Equipment, triggering storied thresholds to unlock passive bonuses. Once Thorin enters the battlefield, every subsequent Dwarf creates a Treasure token while granting wide power buffs to all attacking Dwarves based on total artifact tokens. The primary win condition is overwhelming combat damage amplified by artifact counts, double strike enablers like Dain Ironfoot, and extra combat phases from Desert Were-Worm. High-impact dragons such as Smaug the Magnificent and Goldspan Dragon provide alternate flying reach and explosive Treasure production.
