Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul Dragon tribal strategy led by Ganax, Astral Hunter and Acolyte of Bahamut. The game plan revolves around casting early ramp and cost reducers to deploy the commander pairing by Turn 4. Once assembled, Acolyte discounts the first Dragon cast each turn by two mana, while Ganax creates a Treasure token on every Dragon entry. This engine rapidly ramps into catastrophic high-mana threats like Atarka, World Render, Utvara Hellkite, Terror of the Peaks, and Old Gnawbone. Direct damage triggers from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas clear blockers and burn life totals, while combat damage multipliers overwhelm the table in the air. The deck also contains an infinite token synergy between Ganax and Draconic Visitor. While light on instant-speed interaction and vulnerable to sweepers, its sheer mana velocity and airborne pressure close games decisively by Turn 6.
