Deck overview

Tannuk, Steadfast Second leads a high-velocity mono-red cheat and combo deck that leverages the warp mechanic to bypass high mana costs. By granting passive haste to other creatures and giving all red creature and artifact cards in hand warp {2}{R}, Tannuk enables the deployment of game-ending 6-to-12 CMC bombs ahead of schedule. The deck features a dense suite of interchangeable threats, including extra-combat initiators like Port Razer, massive value engines like Etali, Primal Storm, and lethal damage multipliers like Terror of the Peaks. It also integrates an infinite win condition through Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker and Zealous Conscripts. Synergies such as Sundial of the Infinite and Conjurer's Closet allow the deck to bypass warp's end-step exile trigger, turning temporary beaters into permanent board presence. Backed by free redirection spells and explosive rituals, the deck reliably establishes lethal pressure by Turn 5.
